Description of the electric vehicle Zeekr 001
The Zeekr 001 electric car is an impressive liftback, close in appearance to the famous Porsche Taycan Cross Turismo in Russia. Produced by Geely Automobile since October 2021. The first two letters of the name Zeekr are derived from the words “zero emission” (“zero emission”), the third letter encrypts the message of Electric-Evolution-Era, and the ending “kr” is the designation of krypton, a noble gas without color, taste or smell, the name of which is translated from Greek as “hidden” or “secret”. The model is produced at a plant in Hangzhou, where the headquarters of the Geely holding is located.
Zeekr 001 even entered the Guinness Book of Records as the fastest electric car in drifting and slalom. Even its top speed of 200 km/h is impressive.
Characteristics and configurations of Zeekr 001
The overall dimensions of the car are 4970×1999×1560 mm. The car has a long wheelbase (3005 mm), wheels with a diameter of 22 inches (in top trim levels) and a low aerodynamic drag coefficient Cx (0.23). With the rear seats folded down, a luggage compartment capacity of 2,144 liters is created. There is also a small trunk in the front, but, traditionally for electric vehicles, only a portable charger and an adapter will fit in it.
Already the smallest configuration Zeekr 001 has such an enviable set of characteristics that are not implemented in many other brands, even in top versions. Currently, the manufacturer announces the following configurations:
WE (single motor): engine 200 kW (272 hp), acceleration to 100 km/h in 6.9 seconds, rear-wheel drive, battery 100 kWh, range 732 km, wheels 255/55 R19, thermal ventilated brake disc pump both front and rear, assists (ABS, EBD, EBA, TCS, ESP, lane control, frontal collision warning, door open warning, reverse traffic warning, road sign recognition, uphill and downhill assist), sensors tire pressure, light, rain, 360º camera, adaptive cruise control, 8.8″ telemetry screen, 15.4″ multimedia, 8 speakers, leather steering wheel, genuine leather interior, HUD, ambient lighting, dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, etc.
WE (dual motor), relative to the version with one motor, has two engines with a total power of 400 kW (544 hp), accelerating the electric car to 100 km/h in 3.8, but with a smaller battery of 86 kWh. The consequence of all this is the range on one charge reduced to 536 km. Otherwise the versions are identical.
ME relative to WE has the following changes: two 400 kW (544 hp) engines and all-wheel drive, acceleration to 100 km/h in 3.8 seconds, 100 kWh battery, cruising range 616 km, 255/45 wheels R21, heated steering wheel and all seats, driver’s seat with ventilation and massage, 12-speaker audio system from Yamaha, three-zone climate control
YOU is already quite cool: relative to the ME version, it adds air suspension, electric power steering, opening the trunk with your foot, and automatically dimming mirrors.

As can be seen from the description of the configurations above and from the photographs, everything inside the cabin is expensive and rich: natural leather trim, perfect stitching, high-quality materials, heating and ventilation of seats. With modernity, it is also difficult to wish for more (at least for the driver): high-quality multimedia from Yamaha, projection on the glass, door closers, intelligent systems, camera views in all directions, customizable lighting. Even the rear view mirror will carefully darken in the light of the headlights from behind (in the YOU package). There is no sunroof, but the roof is as panoramic as possible.
