The BYD Qin (Chinese: 秦; pronounced Chin) is an all-electric compact sedan developed by BYD Auto. has been available in China as an all-electric car, as a plug-in hybrid, and as an internal combustion engine vehicle. This variant currently offers the NEDC all-electric range of 82 km (51 mi), with hybrid electric powertrain technology to expand your possible distance similar to that of a conventional petrol-powered vehicle.
The all-electric version of the BYD Qin is a NEDC-rated 520 kilometers (320 mi) car with a 0–97 km/h (0–60 mph) time of 8.2 seconds and a top speed of around 150 km/h (93 mph). It has an energy efficiency of 136 Wh/km, with a 2.5 kWh battery pack giving it an EPA-rated range of 150 miles.
